Chicco sunglasses are the latest line of glasses that guarantee the highest safety for the sensitive eyes of babies and children. The eyes of the youngest are extremely exposed to the harmful effects of sunlight, because their structure allows the light to penetrate deeper, while the possibility of protection is much lower than in adults.

Children spend a lot of time outside, especially in the summer when the sun's radiation is stronger. In newborns, the lens is so clear that 90% of UV-A and 50% of UV-B rays reach the retina. Ideally, sunglasses should block all ultraviolet radiation as well as some blue light if possible. It is recommended that sunglasses block 99% of all ultraviolet light.

The frames are soft and flexible. All glasses from the latest Chicco collection are made of polycarbonate, which is resistant to impacts, breakage and scratches. During the durability test, polycarbonate lenses from the new line of Chicco glasses were subjected to 10 cycles of tests with various materials and objects of different weight and pressure. Only under the influence of strong friction with sandpaper, the lenses were scratched.
